Marcello Homes was born from a simple realization: that intuitive, beautiful-to-behold, comfortable, modern construction was really hard to come by in Charlotte. Our founder, Viktor Bogun, grew up in the Pacific Northwest. When he moved to the Southeast, he wanted to bring that same aesthetic—spaces that are full of light, functional, grounded, and fresh—to North Carolina.
What started with tile work and full-home remodels has grown into a focused, high-standard construction company specializing in modern homes that are both gorgeous and livable. Every Marcello home is rooted in intentional design and built with systems that make life easier—from smart HVAC to clean, efficient layouts.
Behind the scenes, Mariana keeps things running like a well-oiled machine. A former pharmacist turned construction operator, she brings precision, curiosity, and a love of design to every project.

Step 1: Let’s Get in Touch
You’re thinking about building a home. You might already own land, or maybe you’re still looking. You might have an architect—or not. We’ll start with a simple conversation to understand your goals, timeline, and where you are in the process.
Step 2: Putting Together Your Team
If we feel like we’re a fit, you’ll send over a signed contract agreement and retainer to cover all the prep work—permits, estimates, and design planning—before breaking ground. If you already have plans, we’ll review them with you. If you’re working with an interior designer, we’ll coordinate on selections, timing, and site needs from the start. If not, we’ll happily connect you with our team of architects and interior designers for a design that is buildable and aligned with your budget.
Step 3: Getting Clear On What Matters
Once plans are underway, we’ll create a clear budget, a realistic schedule, and a roadmap for making decisions. You’ll know when and how to choose finishes, fixtures, and materials. We will handle permits, code compliance, and inspections throughout. And if you’re financing your build, we’ll coordinate directly with your lender to manage construction draws.
Step 4: Turning Dreams Into Reality
Once permits are in and approvals are done, we start construction. We manage the trades, the timeline, and the daily work. With Buildertrend™, our comprehensive construction management software, you’ll be able to check in on the status of your project at any time—day or night.
